Infinity plus module has new features now. Let’s imagine you have a website that is managed by different teams/departments and want to allow your users to upload files for each of the departments separately. This was completely possible with the old version but now you have email notifications. What this mean is if a logged in user upload files there will be a notification generated and sent to a list of a predefined emails for this specific module. In the email you have the following information:

1. User name (optional) – if user logged in
2. Full name (optional) – if user logged in
3. User email address (optional) – if user logged in
4. List of all uploaded files plus direct link to their location on the server

That’s it!

Note: this update was implemented due to a client requirement. If you have something in mind or would like something to be changed or added to the module we’d be more than happy to hear your ideas and feedback.

Description

Infinity Upload or also known as IUpload is module for Joomla for easy and lightweight AJAX file upload. All actions are done on one page with couple of simple steps to follow:

1. Select one or many files
2. Press button to upload the files
3. See confirmation or error message depending on outcome

All these steps are done on screen without page reload through using AJAX and Flash technology. This makes the entire process really nice, easy and straight forward for the user. But that’s not all. The module can be used out-of-the-box and it real ease for the website owners to install and configure the module.
